Desert Fig Tree (ficus brandegeei)

An attractive medium-sized tree, native to the deserts of the peninsula of Baja California, Mexico. It has leaves in the shape of a heart and a very light bark. It is an excellent ornamental plant, very tolerant to drought, suitable for tropical-dry climates and warm-temperate, without frost, in USDA zones 10 and above.
